Hack Reactor Offers Coveted Coding Classes and Mentorship to Students Worldwide
“Hack Reactor offers students an unparalleled experience of high caliber instructors and mentors, hands-on projects that directly relate to the industry and stellar post graduation job mentoring, said Shawn Drost, Hack Reactor cofounder. “We continually look for new opportunities to meet evolving student needs. Geographic and financial barriers had been an insurmountable hurdle for some prospective candidates. With this new remote program we are charting a new course in the educational coding industry by opening up opportunities globally to students thirsting for knowledge.”
The program mirrors the traditional 12-week Hack Reactor immersive program in many respects without requiring students to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area for three months. This same system, developed by its CTO and Cofounder Marcus Phillips, transfers seamlessly to the remote environment. Instructors confront misunderstandings, immediately iterate on lesson explanations, and optimize each student’s time for results-driven, individual empowerment learning.
Other benefits include:
Interactive tools: Ability to ask questions to instructors in real time, just like onsite students.
Remote Collaboration: Working together with other Remote students on real-world projects using software that bridges physical distance putting them face-to-face with peers and allowing students to edit the same files together in real time.
Job Search Guidance: Remote students are mentored just like Onsite students, by a dedicated staff to find the job perfect for their interests. There is also guidance in evaluating job offers and negotiating terms before job acceptance.
Applications and scholarship submissions are now being accepted for the July 21 session. Hack Reactor encourages potential students to apply by June 24 to leave enough time to complete the application and prep for the course. Interested applicants can apply through the standard online application http://admissions.hackreactor.com/ and can either indicate interest in remote and scholarships in the application process or by emailing email@example.com.
