Hack Reactor Scholarship Options

To create greater access to careers in technology, we offer two types of coding bootcamp scholarships.

Merit Scholarship

Our Merit Scholarship is available to all applicants of our Beginner and Intermediate Bootcamps. To be eligible, applicants must take and pass the Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test (CCAT), which is part of our admissions process.

Awards are $2,500.

Represent Tech

Through Represent Tech, we’re proud to offer scholarships to historically underrepresented groups attending our Beginner Coding Bootcamp.

Merit Scholarship: Supporting Futures in Tech

Our Merit Scholarship is for aspiring software engineers who are ready to work hard and take the next step toward their career goals.

How to Apply:

  • 1) Apply to the Hack Reactor program of your choice.
  • 2) Complete your application and start the admissions process.
  • 3) Complete the admissions process, including the Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test (CCAT).

Scholarship Eligibility

A candidate must be accepted to an upcoming cohort, be job-seeking, and be eligible to work in the U.S. Students are eligible if they’re from groups that are underrepresented in the technology workforce including, but not limited to, those who self-identify as: Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, women, LGBTQIA+, disabled; Or persons over the age of 40, Veterans, and formerly incarcerated persons.

Scholarship Details

  • Scholarships are awarded quarterly. Apply for scholarships in the quarter before you plan to attend.
  • Scholarships are available only to U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents who are authorized to work in the U.S.
  • You must be 18 years of age or older and scholarship recipients must attend an eligible Hack Reactor cohort within 6 months of the date of their award.

Important Represent Tech Dates:

If your cohort starts between: Apply for scholarship by:
January 2025 – March 2025 December 2, 2024
April 2025 – June 2025 March 31, 2025
