Complexity

Once you have your data structures, what do you do? Algorithms determine how your data is used. This is the basic principle behind everything from Google’s search engine to self-driving cars.

Object-Oriented and Functional Programming icon representation.

Object-Oriented and
Functional Programming

These are the two central paradigms of modern web development, and we make sure you are comfortable working with both. This is essential to understanding whats going on under the hood of a code base.

Linden Kueck

Counselor and Campus Lead, Austin Campus

What is your favorite part of your job as a Counselor and Campus Lead at Hack Reactor?
“My favorite part of my job is working closely with students, finding out where they came from, what lives they have lived--and then helping them to build their future life. It's so satisfying to see the transformations that can happen over three months, and so exciting to work in close collaboration with students to help them push their technical, professional, and communication skills. And that's really what makes this place so unique. It's not just about the code--it's also about learning to function well on a team, how to communicate technical ideas, how to dig in on your career.”

Financing Your Journey: We’re Here to Help

Hack Reactor is determined to lower barriers for prospective students. We work with lending partners like SkillsFund and Pave that understand the investment you are making in yourself, and the booming market for software engineers.

Our Tuition Model
vs
% of First-Year Salary Models

Some programs offer a payment model that takes a percentage of your first year salary. While these initially look appealing, they produce within-program issues around incentives of students and staff. You want your peers to be focused and driven, not content with a middling first job.
