Learn coding foundations, build real projects, and get expert feedback
Our beginner bootcamp includes a series of carefully designed units covering the fundamentals of software engineering, from coding and algorithms to data structures and databases.
At the end of each unit, you’ll complete or build upon a project that reinforces what you’ve learned. Our experienced instructors review each project and provide detailed, constructive feedback to help you improve and stay on track.
AI Integration from day one
Starting on day one, you’ll begin using AI as a learning tool, not a shortcut. Each day, you’ll receive a prompt designed to help you engage critically with an AI model of your choice (like ChatGPT, Claude, or Anthropic).
These daily prompts are crafted to help you:
- Build AI literacy as you learn the foundations of coding
- Practice effective AI prompting techniques
- Strengthen your critical thinking and debugging skills
- Learn to think, learn, and work with AI, not be replaced by it
As the program progresses, you’ll also gain hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot and other AI coding tools, learning when and how to rely on them responsibly and effectively.
Our new generative AI literacy unit
As part of our updated curriculum, we’ve added a dedicated Generative AI Literacy unit. In this unit, you’ll explore:
- What artificial intelligence and generative AI are
- How machines learn
- The ethics and risks of AI use
- Principles of responsible AI usage
- How to use AI tools to enhance, not replace, your learning
You’ll also design your own AI usage policy, which is an exercise that encourages reflection and responsible application as you grow into your role as a software engineer.
